Privacy Policy
Effective August 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TextLaunchPad LLC ("TextLaunchPad", "we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the TextLaunchPad platform at textlaunchpad.com and app.textlaunchpad.com (the "Service").
TextLaunchPad is business software for real estate investors and agents. Our customers are businesses that send SMS through their own Twilio accounts; we provide the software that organizes contacts, composes and schedules messages, and presents replies. This Policy covers the information we handle to provide that software. It is written to describe what the Service actually does.
A note on roles: for the contact lists and messages a customer loads into the Service ("Customer Data"), the customer decides what is collected and why — they are the controller and we act on their instructions. Our own handling of that data is governed by our Terms of Service; this Policy focuses on the information TextLaunchPad collects to run the Service.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and the business details you enter to set up your account and your 10DLC registration.
- Billing information. Subscriptions are billed through PayPal. Payment is handled by PayPal and we do not receive or store your full card number; we keep the subscription status and identifiers PayPal returns.
- Credentials you connect. The Twilio Account SID and Auth Token, and any AI provider API key, that you choose to connect. Secrets are encrypted at rest and are used only to operate the Service on your behalf.
- Customer Data. The contact records, message content, templates, notes and campaign settings you upload to or create in the Service. This is yours; we process it to provide the Service and do not use it for our own purposes.
- Usage and technical data. Log data, IP address, device and browser information, and records of actions taken in the Service, used to secure and operate it.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, secure and support the Service.
- To bill your subscription and manage your account.
- To send you service and account messages (for example, billing notices, security alerts, and changes to terms).
- To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To improve the Service, using aggregated, de-identified statistics that do not identify you, your contacts, or the content of your messages.
- To comply with law and enforce our agreements.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your contact lists or messages to market to your contacts. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that run the Service on our behalf — for example our hosting and database infrastructure — under confidentiality obligations and only to provide services to us.
- Twilio, at your direction, to transmit the messages you compose. Twilio is your provider under your own account, governed by Twilio's terms.
- PayPal, to process your subscription payments, governed by PayPal's terms.
- AI providers you configure, which receive only the content needed for the feature you use (for example the text of a reply to be classified), under that provider's terms and billed to your own key.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of TextLaunchPad, our customers, or the public. Where we are legally able, we will give notice.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Your contacts' data
The mobile numbers and details in your contact lists belong to a messaging program you operate, not to TextLaunchPad. You are responsible for the lawful basis to hold and message them, and for honoring their opt-outs. The Service enforces opt-outs and suppression on every send, but the obligation to the recipient is yours as the sender. Each sending business publishes its own consumer-facing SMS privacy notice describing that program.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including tenant isolation between customer accounts, encryption of connected credentials at rest, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not warrant that the Service cannot be compromised.
Retention
We keep account and Customer Data for as long as your account is active and as described in the Terms of Service. After termination you may request an export for 30 days, after which we may delete Customer Data on the schedule set out in the Terms. We retain what we must for legal, tax and security reasons — including a record of opt-outs, so that suppression continues to be honored.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correction and deletion. Contact us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Some information we must retain for legal or security reasons.
- Export. You may export your Customer Data as described in the Terms.
- Service messages. Account, billing and security messages are part of the Service and cannot be opted out of while you have an account; any marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
- State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor verifiable requests from everyone. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
The Service uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
Children
The Service is for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated version at this URL. Material changes will also be notified as described in the Terms of Service.
